What do people bring to coaching? A lot of things, actually. People can feel overwhelmed, out of options, or generally “stuck” about any number of facets of their lives. And coaching is a great way to see your way through whatever tangled issue has come up for you. Below is a quick description of some of my favorite areas to coach. Do you see yourself there? Great! Career Coaching

It can hit us at any point in our work life: this feeling that we are not on the path that was meant for us. That happiness, fulfillment, joy may be in another direction than the one in which we’re currently headed. That being “okay” at our job is just not good enough.

Does this sound familiar? Career Coaching might be just what you’re looking for. Some things we might do in Career Coaching include:

  • Exploring your strengths and skills to see what you’re good at, and matching those to possible jobs

  • Preparing you to apply, interview, and start a new job

Academic Coaching

The world of Higher Education is unlike any other. The pressures—to conduct quality research, to publish, to contribute as a graduate student and then as a faculty member to the life of your department, and all the while to teach and mentor students—can be immense. And overwhelming.

I spent the better part of two decades working in Higher Education. I’m not standing in your shoes, but I recognize the path you’re on. In particular, I’m ready to coach:
